July 19 we had irregular storms and on this occasion got hit by a funnel cloud on our roof. The dirt had blown up from Moss Park and things were being franticly blown about. SIgns were ripped off the wall beside the pools and the deck furniture we had to scramble to catch before it went over the rooftop. Once we were into safety we could see over in the sky funnel cloud formations. This picture was shot in the hour after the storm where the clouds took on a most unusual appearnce: the sky was mauve!
